Extend your knowledge of Rudolf Steiner Education.
Enjoy an artistic and social experience.
For your own inner development.
This is a ‘hands on’ experiential course which requires your active participation. It is an opportunity to extend your knowledge of Rudolf Steiner Education, gain practical and artistic skills to bring to your work and life; to enjoy an artistic and social experience and to nourish your inner life. It requires regular attendance and can be undertaken at two levels:
- Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education (Primary) – this includes some reading and small assessment tasks to be completed outside the course sessions.
- Professional Development Certificate – students may elect to attend by year, term or subject, complete the same small relevant assessment tasks, and receive a PD Certificate of Attendance with stated hours.
This is an enjoyable and manageable load, reflecting the part-time nature of the course.
Rudolf Steiner education aims at educating the child through a balance of practical, artistic and academic activities. Its methods work with the child’s developing consciousness as it moves, step by step, through the curriculum.
This course is offered for anyone interested in extending their knowledge of anthroposophy in general, and the Rudolf Steiner curriculum in particular. Students who are already qualified teachers are eligible to teach in Steiner schools upon completion of the certificate.
