About the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar
“Our vision is to support healthy human development through education based upon anthroposophical insights, as a way of contributing to ethical social renewal and a sustainable future.”
The practical expression of this vision will be brought through providing teacher development in Waldorf/Steiner education, and by growing a rich cultural community life out of anthroposophical initiatives.”
The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar Ltd offers a range of programs based upon the work of Rudolf Steiner. It is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO#3948 CRICOS# 01812M) approved to deliver courses to both local and international students.
The Seminar has been conducting courses for 50 years for local and international students and is a member of Steiner Education Australia, the national association of Steiner education providers.
Steiner Education is the most rapidly expanding education in the world, with five Steiner streams integrated into Victorian State schools and 40 independent schools throughout Australia.
There is a great demand for Steiner trained teachers. Graduates find employment in early childhood settings, primary and secondary schools and in roles working with children with special needs.
We offer a full-time course, the Advanced Diploma of Rudolf Steiner Education, (Course code 10825NAT, CRICOS code 107755A)) as well as part-time non-accredited certificate courses.
The Advanced Diploma of Rudolf Steiner Education is a two year full-time accredited qualification. It provides a pathway to a university Bachelor of Education, which upon completion, qualifies graduates to teach in Australian schools (both in government, independent and Steiner schools).
The course offers not only excellent employment prospects, but also a rich personal development experience.
Our part-time non-accredited certificate courses are offered in Primary School education, High School Teacher education, Early Childhood, and other specialised courses suitable for teachers, parents, homeschoolers and therapists.
