The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar
"Our vision is to support healthy human development
through education based upon anthroposophical insights,
as a way of contributing to ethical social renewal and a sustainable future."
The practical expression of this vision will be brought through providing teacher development in Waldorf/Steiner education, and by growing a rich cultural community life out of anthroposophical initiatives.
The Seminar has been offering teacher and adult education and transformative personal development courses for 50 years to local and international students. It is a member of Steiner Education Australia, the national peak body representing Steiner education providers.
The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar Ltd offers a range of programs to further our vision and mission based upon the work of Rudolf Steiner. It is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 3948 CRICOS Provider 01812M) approved to deliver qualification courses to both local and international students.
Steiner / Waldorf Education
Steiner Education is the most rapidly expanding education in the world. In Australia there are 51 Steiner schools, nine Steiner streams integrated within State schools, a specialist school for children K-12 with moderate to severe disabilities, and a growing number of pre-schools, early childhood settings and playgroups.
There is a demand for Steiner-trained teachers in Australia and around the world, and our graduates find employment in early childhood settings, primary and secondary schools and in roles working with children with special needs.
